Use of Delivery Address by Shipping Service Providers
To deliver goods ordered from us, we send the delivery address you provided to one of our shipping service providers (DPD or DHL). Your name and the necessary address for delivery are forwarded to our supplier or our own production facility in the form of a shipping label. When creating this label, your data (name and delivery address) are transmitted electronically to the shipping service provider, generating a shipping label. Additionally, your data are used by these providers for tracking shipments. To optimize our customer service, we monitor your shipment in parallel and may intervene if necessary—e.g., if your package hasn't moved for an extended period. In such cases, we use your data to compare with the package service provider to expedite locating it.How long do DHL and DPD store these data?
Use of Your Data by Our Customer Service
We have made available a customer service team consisting of both company employees and third-party contractors (external subcontractors) so that we can assist you at any time with questions or problems. These personnel have access to your data stored in our system and used during shipment tracking; they use this information only upon request from you. This may involve exchanging data with suppliers or shipping services if there's a question about where your goods are located. If there's no inquiry regarding an order or return, your data won't be used. All entries made by customer service occur within our IT system and aren't stored on other servers or computers. Access restrictions via passwords protect these systems according to GDPR regulations.
Use of Your Data by Our Suppliers and Production Facilities
The order placed by you along with associated details (name and address) is forwarded together with information about ordered items as part of an order list sent electronically as well as through dispatching shipping labels that get printed at suppliers' locations for packaging purposes.Additionally, suppliers receive information about returns: Order number, name along with returned items get transmitted for internal billing purposes before being destroyed at their end—or how long do they keep them?
Use of Your Data Abroad Within EU Countries
We don't transfer personal data outside EU countries since both suppliers & logistics partners operate within Europe. However, when ordering through sales platforms like Amazon from us it might happen due their policies that some transfer occurs outside EU borders—please check respective privacy policies from those platforms directly! We communicate but neither retrieve nor send personal info via online marketplaces; hence please contact us directly via email regarding personalized inquiries so we ensure no storage abroad happens under GDPR compliance standards!
